What is a Barn Raising?
Historically, a barn raising was a collective action of a community, in which a barn was built or rebuilt collectively by members of the community. Our Barn Raising Night Charitable Initiative is built out of the same basic principles: a community of people coming together to help strengthen and support one another.
How does it work?
One local nonprofit is chosen by a member of our staff on a monthly basis. On the 3rd Wednesday of every month we will host a Barn Raising Night in our taproom in support of the chosen local nonprofit. Our goal is to raise awareness & to donate funds directly to the chosen nonprofit.
$1 from every 16oz glass, 10oz glass, flight board and every 32oz or 64oz growler fill sold in our taproom will be directly donated to the chosen nonprofit organization.
If you are part of a nonprofit organization and would like Barn Hammer Brewing company employees to consider your organization for a Barn Raising Night, please send us a msg with details about your nonprofit.
***We do not donate to religious organizations.
We are locally engaged in our city and community, participating in various fundraising efforts including event sponsorships and in-kind donations. While we would like to help every worthy cause out there, we unfortunately cannot support every donation/sponsorship request we receive.
Ineligible requests include:
• Religious organizations or events
• Political organizations or events
• Social prizes
• Support for individuals
• Sporting events or team sponsorships
• People individually raising money for a non-profit organization
To submit a request for a an in-kind donation or event sponsorship, please email a brief description of your event including goal and achievements along with your request to email@example.com. All requests must be submitted in writing at least 2 months prior to event date to be eligible for consideration. All donations and sponsorships are determined on a case-by-case basis.
