Crocus is a bright, botanical wild ale brewed with Lactobacillus plantarum to impart a light, tart, citrusy tang. We sourced locally grown dried herbs and blooms to lend a subtle floral character and soft herbal nuance. The result is a refreshing, gentle wild ale with lively acidity, and delicate botanicals that unfold like the first blooms of spring.
Crocus Wild Ale is a group brew project by the women & non-binary folks of Barn Hammer Brewing Company.
